Doubtful Sound / Milford Sound and Milford landing
All the details on the Doubtful Sound page apply to this trip but instead of flying over the sound at Milford and returning straight back to Queenstown you will land at the Milford aerodrome for a brief stay of approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
You can take a stroll or photo stop to marvel at the magnificent grandeur and scale of the scenery, with the mountains you have just flown over now towering thousands of feet above you, rising sheer out of the sound, the contrast is breathtaking. This short break on the ground provides a perfect interlude to an unforgettable flightseeing adventure before the return flight from Milford to Queenstown.
