Big Bay / West Coast beach landing
This trip is the classic "joy" flight to the beach with the added attraction of seeing the spectacular scenery of the Southern alps on the way. All seats aboard our aircraft are window seats and you can relax in the reassuring knowledge that all our pilots have undergone rigorous training with our affiliate company The Wakatipu Aero club and being familiar with the area can provide an interesting and informative commentary as you enjoy the spectacular ever changing panorama of lakes, snow covered peaks, forested river valleys, distant glaciers, rugged mountain ranges and waterfalls until you arrive at the west coast and begin a descent over Big Bay to land on the pristine and remote yellow sand beach. Spend 30 minutes or so on the beach relaxing to the sound of the surf before returning to Queenstown via Lake Wakatipu.

Flight package includes

Tour option
If you wish to extend your stay on the beach additional ground time will be charged at $50 per hour but this would be entirely dependant on tide times and aircraft availability on the day.
Extend the flight to take in an overflight of Mount Aspiring, the Snowball Glaciers and the Olivine ice plateau for an additional $60 per person.
