Mount Aspiring overflight / Snowball glaciers & Olivine ice plateau

All the details on the Mount Aspiring and glacier overflight page apply to this trip but instead of returning directly to Queenstown the flight continues over the breathtakingly beautiful Snowball glaciers, Marion ice plateau and then onto the vast snowfield of the Olivine ice plateau.  All seats aboard our aircraft are window seats and you can relax in the reassuring knowledge that all our pilots have undergone rigorous training with our affiliate company The Wakatipu Aero club and being familiar with the area can provide an interesting and informative commentary.  The flight is an unforgettable experience and the only way to see this unique and underated area . After leaving the Olivine ice plateau the flight tracks back to Queenstown via the Beansburn or Rockburn and Dart River valleys and over lake Wakatipu to land back at Queenstown.
